Crystal Palace vs. Brentford: Live stream, TV channel, kick-off time & how to watch

Fans and neutrals alike will be hoping for more goals in Tuesday's fixture after the two meetings between these sides last season finished 0-0.

The hosts' talisman Wilfried Zaha has hit the ground running at the start of their current campaign, netting coolly in the 1-1 draw at Liverpool before scoring twice in the win over Aston Villa.

Despite Brentford's disappointment last weekend, Thomas Frank's men have made a positive start to the season and boast the third-best attack in the division so far, behind just Manchester City and leaders Arsenal.

Team News

Crystal Palace: Wilfried Zaha's absence was felt in the second half of Palace's 4-2 defeat to Manchester City last Saturday as the Eagles were limited to set-piece chances. The team's top scorer was laid low with a knock and is a doubt for this midweek despite delivering an encouraging message on Twitter: "The grind never stops. See you soon!"

Tyrick Mitchell limped off against City, creating uncertainty around his availability as well. James Tomkins (calf), James McArthur (groin) and Nathan Ferguson (foot) are all unlikely to feature while goalkeeper Jack Butland continues to nurse a fractured wrist.

Brentford: Pontus Jansson missed just his second Premier League match last weekend since the club's promotion with a minor foot injury. Fellow centre-back Ethan Pinnock is out with a more severe knee problem but Kristoffer Ajer is building match fitness as his return nears.

Sergi Canos may have to wait another week or two while he continues recovering from a thigh complaint.

Head to Head

  • The home side hasn't lost any of the last seven league meetings.
  • Brentford's last win at Crystal Palace came in a 2-0 victory in March 1957.
  • This could become the first fixture in English top-flight history in which the first three encounters end goalless.

Prediction: Both matches between these clubs ended 0-0 last season as chances proved hard to come by. The most recent meeting produced just 15 shots combined. Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Brentford
